AH-64 Apache Helicopter Platoon (TUBX21)

Designed to perform at the front line of battle against Soviet forces, the Apache was equipped with night fighting and all-weather capabilities. Its armament consists of a 30mm M230 Chain Gun with 1200 rounds of ammunition and, depending on configuration, can carry up to 16 Hellfire missiles and 76 Hydra 70 rockets in up to four pods.

Bradley Troop (TUBX19)

After the end of the Vietnam War, the U.S. Army began to rebuild its forces around mechanised infantry formations. Designed to work in concert with armoured units, mechanised infantry formations were equipped with the latest weapons and mounted in the new M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle to allow them to keep up with the new M1 Abrams tank entering service at the same time.

AV-8 Harrier Attack Flight (TUBX26)

The US Marine Corps adopted the British Hawker-Siddley Harrier, the famed ‘Jump Jet’, in 1971. Designated AV-8, the Harrier is a high performance jet aircraft that is uniquely capable of vertical and short take off and landing (VSTOL). It does this by swivelling its exhaust nozzles down to allow it to take off vertically.

A-10 Warthog Fighter Flight (TUBX27)

The A-10 is built around a massive 30mm GAU-8/A Avenger seven-barrelled Gatling gun that fires depleted uranium rounds, and in its tank-busting role, carries TV-guided Maverick missiles. Its armoured cockpit and high-mounted engines give it outstanding resilience.
