Spotlight: Mishima Tiger Dragons

In the Lore:
Many centuries have passed since the Kakusa Temple was founded and its connections to the Soshomara Temple of Enlightenment have been all but forgotten; but to this day, the immeasurable impact of the Tiger Dragons the Kakusa Temple has spawned is clear. They are the key to almost every Liege-Lord’s retinue, favoured for their renowned close combat capabilities and specialist training. Tiger Dragons are able to pass unseen through even the most barren of environments, ready to strike at the heart of their foes with precise devastation. Ki training is a critical and constant part of their preparation from the moment they follow the path of enlightenment in the ways of the Tiger Dragon.

On the Tabletop:
The Tiger Dragons are fantastic short ranged shock troops they are armed with Windrider submachine guns and Dusk Dealer Naganata’s standard. One in 3 can take the mighty Dragon Fire rotary HMG with an outstanding rate of fire of 4.

Tiger Dragons may Rapid Deploy or infiltrate; most players Rapid Deploy them as it gets them in close without taking the risk of being shot at before they can pounce.

They are also hard to hit in melee due to them having the Slippery Special Skill.

If not engaged the Tiger Dragons may use the ‘Flesh into Stone’ Special Skill. The Squad’s Armour is increased to 20 (16). The squad returns to its original state once any of the Models initiates any Action except Basic Shooting and Pass. This makes them really nasty when holding objectives.
