Robert, of Vancouver in Canada, has kindly submitted photographs of his wonderfully painted Warzone Resurrection army. He chose Brotherhood because of their detailed aesthetic and for the painting opportunity he felt they would offer.

The Mortificators are a mysterious unit, traditionally dressed in black with black bodypaint and even black blades on their weapons, they stalk their prey with an unsurpassed ability in stealth. In games of Warzone Resurrection, they are able to ‘void’, meaning that, although the models are on the board and they can move, they are treated as being completely out of play. They cannot be targeted, nor make any attacks, until they choose to do so.
Robert has gone for a very clean painting style with these, choosing a chilling colour scheme of blues and deathly pale flesh.

Converse to the Mortificators, the Sacred Warriors are proud to be front and foremost on the battlefield. They march stoically until they reach the fore, at which point they explode in a flurry of well placed hits with their swords, whilst deflecting all danger brought their way with the strong shields they bear. Robert has followed the traditionally rich colour scheme of the Sacred Warriors, using a vibrant red and deep purple, highlighted elegantly with blue tones.

Forming the mainstay of his army, the Brotherhood troopers are garbed in grey and red. Not looking to be idolised, the Brotherhood Troopers traditionally favour a smaller palette of colours in their garments. On the field they can be armed with Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles or Swords and Shields, similar to those used by the aforementioned Sacred Warriors.

Supporting the foot-soldiers of his army, Robert has selected a pair of Guardiani Oblati, sacred guardians of the highest-standing officials within the Brotherhood. These dedicated security troops will enter the battlefield when their master is wounded and assist him in any way they can. Robert has also added some much needed firepower in a mostly close combat force by equipping his Judicator with two massive Chainguns. The Judicator will march stoically into battle, acting as a mobile sentry gun and suppressing enemy troops whilst the rest of the Brotherhood army charges forwards to slaughter their foes in melee.

The Valkyries are famed throughout the Solar Systems as the most holy warriors out there. Each one is a master of combat tactics and is practically fearless even against the most fearsome of foes. Robert has once again chosen a more traditional colour scheme for these beautiful miniatures, making good use of their detailed armour with washes and drybrushes over the panels, bolts and joints.

Finally, Robert has a collection of the Brotherhoods Warlords and Heroes to present. The Blessed Vestal Laura, a Crucifier, Lord Inquisitor Hamilkar and Cardinal Dominic, the Sherriff of Luna. All painted with wonderful detail, Robert has several options to lead his army, each presenting a slightly different manner in which they will support his other squads.
