DGS Games Releases its Undead Faction

The long awaited Kandorans have been released by DGS Games for their game Freeblades.  The Kandorans bring the undead into the fast paced skirmish game as well as Necromancy.

Kandorans are part of the Symker race in the world of Faelon.  The green skinned peoples of the East have had many migrations due to natural disasters, and those that settled Kandor were no different.  They soon found they had a problem though, as many of the settlers wanted to retain their nomadic horseback lifestyle even as cities needed to be built and a proper army established.

To remedy this Kandor began to trade in slaves and raid surrounding nations for people to enslave and bring back to Kandor to do the heavy lifting.  All that changed when under one of their young cities a temple was found that contained the secrets of Necromancy.

The Undead

Kandorans use the secrets of Necromancy to raise the dead in order to build and fill out an army.  In this way they need less slaves and the Kandoran people can keep their nomadic lifestyle.  Many other peoples of course are utterly repulsed by their relationship with the dead, and some get used to seeing the dead roam the streets as though they had never died.

Kandoran Freebands

Kandoran Freebands are a mix between the living and the dead.  Their leaders are living, with necromancy wielding Jackal Priests and a few other living Kandorans making up the base of the Freeband.  The rest are made of the undead, from Bonethrall hosts to newly raised Shamblers and the Awakened.
