The studio has been hard at work to finish off this batch of terrain sets in time for the holidays! Today we explore another season influenced set, this time on a frozen tundra! Another game store set, so we were sure to give it the full barrage of tests before it goes off to it’s new player base. Here, take a quick video tour!

The centerpiece of this set is the Wizard Tower, which was heavily inspired by the mood and feel of Conan The Destroyer. Some of our tips and tricks for accomplishing these sorts of effects on your own table include our method for making the ice and building textures.  For the ice effects, a turquoise blue undercoat with warm white was used, along with crackle paint. Resin sand was used for texture on the sci-fi buildings.
