The World of SMOG: On Her Majesty’s Service is now available! The year is 1889, and Queen Victoria has tasked you and up to three of your friends with the quest of entering the dangerous Shadow Market to obtain four Artefacts. If you succeed, you’ll be in the Queen’s good graces and see great reward.

To do so, you must buy and sell Ether, use special actions, and avoid the insidious Shadow Agents as the board constantly changes from turn to turn. That’s right. Every turn the board is different and your seating around the table has real impact on gameplay. Cogs constantly rotate, dictating the price of Ether or Artefacts depending on your chair at the table. And watch out because even the board itself may move.

And then there’s the pesky Shadow Agents. If they’re giving you trouble, you could always take control of the Shadow Master and turn them to your will, creating havoc for the other players. But beware, money talks in the Shadow Market, so the Master’s loyalties are always to those with the most coin.

Once you have your Artefacts, you must ensure you have the right combination of Ethers to escape the Shadow Market or be trapped there, never to know the graces of Queen Victoria.
