Hello Icarus Fans. Big news for you today about the upcoming Kickstarter for The Icarus Project.

The Icarus Project Kickstarter

The Icarus Project Kickstarter will go live on September 7th, 2015. This kickstarter will be to fund our science fiction skirmish wargame, The Icarus Project.

I’ve been working on this project in varying capacities for nearly six years now, so I am incredibly excited to finally get the chance to bring it to the gaming public.

The Project will be aiming to to fund the production of the Alliance and Nexus starter sets, along with a physical copy of the rulebook.

Unlike some projects that hit kickstarter. our funding goal will be realistic, and reflect the actual amount of money needed to get this game off the ground, rather than a reduced amount aimed to fund faster.

Some of the miniatures that will be available on the Icarus Project Kickstarter have already been previewed, such as the Gunslinger, and Gabriel Cross. We’ll be showing off more as we draw closer to launch.

Narrative Gameplay

With it’s focus on a narrative, cinematic experience, the Icarus Project rulebook will be crammed full of background on the races and characters in the game. You’ll learn about the conflicts and events that have led to the “present day”, as well as what motivates each race.

Over the coming days and weeks, I will go into more depth about the various aspects of the campaign, and what is going to make it unmissable.
