Tournament Kits are the foundation of FFG’s Organized Play programs, and each kit contains prize support and helpful suggestions on how to best support your local community. With these tools, stores can host leagues, weekly events, or even a large-scale tournament to draw in players and build a thriving group of players. Where are Game Night Kits?

As Organized Play and the games we support grow, we continually look at how to improve our programs. Starting with the Summer 2014 Season, pre-orders and release schedules for Tournament Kits and Game Night Kits will follow separate timelines. Tournament Kits will continue to use the schedule we have followed in the past, with three four-month seasons per year, and Game Night Kits will change to a new schedule that will be announced soon.

We want to support both Tournament Kits and Game Night Kits in the best way possible and believe separating their release schedules allows us to increase each kit’s effectiveness as we move forward. As always, we will continue to look for ways to improve this system.

More information on the schedule for future Game Nights Kits and how to purchase them will be announced shortly.

A New Name for Tournament Kit Seasons

Another change as we move forward is the names we use to describe each season of Tournament Kits. While a simple numeral has sufficed in the past for separating our different Tournament Kit Seasons, we felt that we could improve upon our old name and give players something that is more evocative. In order to achieve this, we have changed the names to represent the seasons of the year in which the majority of each Season takes place (Spring, Summer, Winter).

The amount of promotional material in Tournament Kits for the Summer 2014 Season has not changed.

If you’re a player, you can do your part to grow Organized Play by telling your favorite local game store about our Tournament Kits. If you’re interested in taking a more active role in bringing events to your community, here are some ways you can help promote Fantasy Flight Organized Play:

Ask your favorite local game store if you can post a sign-up sheet for upcoming events
Offer to run demos
Volunteer your services as tournament organizer
