We also publish the bimonthly No Quarter™ magazine and the Formula P3™ hobby tool and paint range in addition to the other products in our catalog. Job Description

The Studio Coordinator reports directly to the Creative Director. The Studio Coordinator’s primary duties include working with the Privateer Press miniatures studio to create and monitor schedules for producing miniatures. Other responsibilities include shipping and receiving miniatures and intermediate parts, preparing budget requests, monitoring the Studio’s supply inventory, and other logistical and clerical needs as required by the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Traffic Coordination: The Studio Coordinator will be responsible for updating schedules and tracking the progress of Privateer Press miniatures from concept brief to production-ready sculpt. This includes working with various teams to set deadlines based on the needs of the production, marketing, and creative development teams.
  • Schedule Planning: The Studio Coordinator will represent the miniatures studio when working with Privateer’s various project teams on long-term product scheduling to balance releases based on company needs.
  • Generate Tooling Sheets: The Studio Coordinator will create documentation detailing parts breakdown for production.
  • Vendor Coordination: The Studio Coordinator will assist the Studio Director in scheduling and prioritizing Privateer’s needs with our rapid prototype vendors and other suppliers.
  • Quality Control Assistance: The Studio Coordinator will work with the Studio Director and Project Management team to ensure the quality standards of Privateer’s miniatures and the Formula P3 paint line.
  • Shipping: The Studio Coordinator will pack and ship intermediate parts and master models to sculptors and vendors.

Required Skills and Proficiencies

  • Working knowledge of wikis, databases, and MS Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Familiarity with Privateer Press miniatures products
  • Ability to multitask and change gears between multiple projects quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of photography
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Able and willing to travel to conventions, industry trade shows, open houses, etc. in and outside the U.S. if needed

Preferred Skills and Proficiencies

  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
