Monsterpocalypse Errata Update


We have an update to the last FAQ and errata document published earlier this year. It fixes some problematic interactions you, the community, have discovered.

BEAT BACK

ORIGINAL: Immediately after this model damages an enemy monster with this attack, you can move the monster hit up to two spaces in a straight line in any direction. During this movement, the target monster moves through and collides with buildings, units, and hazards in its path. The target monster stops moving if it collides with another monster.

FIXED: When this attack hits an enemy monster, after moving the target as a result of a power attack if able, you can move the monster hit up to two spaces in a straight line in any direction. During this movement, the target monster moves through and collides with buildings, units, and hazards in its path. The target monster stops moving if it collides with another monster.

SHADOWS

This rule is a trigger that can be found on the Ancient Ones unit the Skull Keeper.

ORIGINAL: If this attack hits, immediately after the attack is resolved, choose an allied unit within five spaces of this model and place it adjacent to this model.

FIXED: If this attack hits, immediately after the attack is resolved, you may choose an allied unit within five spaces of this model and place it adjacent to this model.

BATTERING RAM

This rule that can be found on the Ancient Ones monster King of Camazotz.

ORIGINAL: Once per turn, if this monster damages an enemy monster with a ram power attack, immediately after the attack is resolved you can move the damaged monster up to two spaces in a straight line in any direction as a result of the attack. During this movement, the damaged monster moves through and collides with buildings, units, and hazards in its path. The damaged monster stops moving if it collides with another monster.

FIXED: When this monster hits a building with a Ram power attack, choose up to one monster that will be damaged as a result of that Ram. Move that monster up to two spaces in a straight line in any direction as a result of the attack. During this movement, the monster moves through and collides with buildings, units, and hazards in its path. The monster stops moving if it collides with another monster.
