Mantic Games 29th November Open Day 2014

The Mantic Open Day is a great day out of gaming where you can meet the Mantic team, see what goes on behind the scenes and pick-up some great deals too!
We have a whole host of exciting games and activities planned for our winter open day:

The Games

Escape from Space Port HL-193
The contagion spread faster than anyone could have expected now overrunning all the major settlements. All evacuation shuttles are about to be stopped. Can you help lead one of our group of survivors through a heavily infested zone to reach one of the last escape craft heading into orbit – or will you die trying?

Join in in this co-operative participation game for Deadzone where you will be part of a team of survivors trying to escape on one of the last shuttles before the planet is cleansed of all life!

Robot Rampage!
The US marines of Bravo Company have been sent to the west side of Greenville in an effort to round up as many civilians as possible and escort them to safety. What they thought would be a relatively safe mission turned out to be an ambush by a squadron of Martian robots sent to hunt them down and annihilate all human resistance.

In this game you will either take on the role of one of the US Marines trying to rescue as many civilians as possible or as the pilot of one of the Martian robots hunting down anything that moves – who wins is up to you. Will you help defend humanity from the invasion, or will you conquer it?

Ronnie’s Seminar
Experience one of our legendary seminars with Ronnie Renton, head of Mantic Games. Here we discuss everything from what we’ve done recently to what we’re doing now and have a look into the future of what could be for Mantic Games, we also run a Q and A session so ask the head of Mantic anything you want for an insight into what it takes. Anyone who has ever been in a seminar with Ronnie, Jake and Alessio know that they just can’t help but tell you what comes next!

Talk to the experts
We will have several hobby experts on hand at this year’s event for you to ask any hobby related questions to. We have Dave our studio painter to give painting tips and demo some painting techniques as well as Sylvain to give sculpting and modelling tips. Finally, the Terrain Tutor will be coming in to give some terrain making demos. Ask them any hobby questions you might have.
