COSPLAY: THE GOOD,
THE BAD, AND THE STRUGGLE (Seminar)

Friday, June 21: 1 P.M. – 3 P.M. (unlimited)

You want to participate in cosplay but have no idea where to
begin. Or you’ve taken the plunge to commit, but don’t know how to find
resources. Whether you’re making a single prop to display at home or designing
a full-blown costume to wear to cons for the next twenty years, this class will
get you rolling.

• Pattern Making
• Materials and How to Work with Them
• From Art to Armor (and How to Cut Corners in
  Between)

COSPLAY: HANDS-ON (Class)

Saturday, June 22: 1 P.M. – 4 P.M. (space limited to 10 participants, ages 14+ or parental supervision required)

Time to build! Kali will have on-hand everything you need to
craft your very own project (bracer, helmet, or weapon) and successfully
complete it, step-by-step, during Lock & Load—and it need not be from the
Skorne Faction (despite her personal preferences…)

Learn to work with Worbla and other tools of the trade as
you craft your unique piece. Whether it’s your first build or just your latest,
this is your chance to take home a piece of cosplay that will show off your
skills and set you on the path for your next costume!
