Insider 7-16-2014

When we launched Skull Island eXpeditions a little over a year ago, we knew we had an incredibly rich setting to explore: the Iron Kingdoms. WARMACHINE and HORDES are brimming with larger-than-life personalities just begging to stretch their legs a bit—story-wise—in narrative fiction. Of course, we are still working hard to bring you the stories of your favorite warcasters, warlocks, and all the other characters who make the Iron Kingdoms so great. That said, Skull Island eXpeditions’ goal has always been to expand beyond the Iron Kingdoms and explore other settings. Now our first step toward that goal is just around the corner.

Later this year, we will release The Judas Protocol, the first novel set in the terrifying world of LEVEL 7. Those familiar with LEVEL 7 [OMEGA PROTOCOL] will recognize the story’s central characters: the highly trained special operations unit known as Disco Team. The Judas Protocol takes place years before the fateful events played out in OMEGA PROTOCOL and sends the members of Disco Team after a rogue Ghin aided by a deadly and skilled Russian black ops team. The rogue Dr. Thoth has absconded with dangerous alien technology, technology that could threaten the entire human and Ghin races. Written by Scribe Award-winning author Nathan Meyer, an Army veteran who has written over a dozen novels across three action-adventure series, including Mack Bolan, The Judas Protocol is a pulse-pounding sci-fi/horror adventure. In addition, the events of The Judas Protocol have serious ramifications that tie in to the upcoming LEVEL 7 [INVASION].

Although, my primary goal in this blog is to tell you about Skull Island eXpeditions’ first foray beyond the Iron Kingdoms and, hopefully, get you excited about The Judas Protocol, I would be remiss if I didn’t at least mention the reappearance of an old . . . friend. All this talk of LEVEL 7 and the upcoming LEVEL 7 [INVASION] has pulled our favorite conspiracy-theory nut job out of the woodwork. That’s right: Insider 51 has returned with a new update on his website, They Do Not Come in Peace. Check it out.
