Summer Bundles have hit the Privateer Press Online Store, providing a great opportunity to start that new faction you’ve been thinking about.

You may recall that, during our Holiday Sale, I picked up a Convergence of Cyriss Bundle and painted it up in a quick scheme I could easily replicate. Originally, my plan had been to keep this army as a small side project. Even the best intentions are sometimes doomed to failure, however, and my forces have grown exponentially larger over the past six months. Let me show you what I’ve been working on.

After a few games with Axis, the Harmonic Enforcer and Forge Master Syntherion, I really wanted to build an army for Father Lucant. I gathered up a few extra models, and before long I had a 35-point list to help along the Great Work. The Reciprocators were probably my favorite unit to paint here. I love the look of these guys, and they do a ton of work for me in every game I play.

Then I decided there was no way I could play the father without also playing the mother. I picked up Iron Mother Directrix, a Prime Axiom, and a few other pieces to put together yet another 35-point list. The unit of Reductors that came with the Holiday Bundle this past winter plays a big part in the army too, and they’ve served me well.

I’ve been able to build a lot this year, and I’m having a blast with the Convergence of Cyriss. So, if you’ve been on the fence about picking up a new faction, now is a great time to get started—I hope to see a whole slew of new armies posted on Twitter and in our forums over the next few months!
