It’s amazing to remember that WARMACHINE and HORDES are played all over the world—in fact, we are constantly fascinated to experience different exotic places while still enjoying the universal crushing sound of claws against metal, all underscored with a host of different accents and in different languages.

France and Belgium have a very lively community of players who love the Iron Kingdoms. VictoriaGame, our distributor, is now organizing an event for those very players: Iron Week 2015 from October 20–25 in the suburbs of Paris itself.

During these six days, 300 players will have the chance to face one another on the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms during 23 different tournaments, a painting competition with multiple categories for consideration—of course, France is famous for the quality of its paintings!—and in our more casual Iron Arena.

This fantastic event marks the occasion for France’s first-ever Iron Gauntlet Qualifier for 2016 with 128 seats available. And to up the ante (cue the trumpets): VictoriaGame will offer the winner a plane ticket to Seattle in order to attend Lock & Load 2016 and perhaps defend his or her colors in the finale!

This event is, of course, open to everyone, and the French are counting on their European neighbors to send their best players to compete for that same grand prize!

Iron Week 2015 will also offer more casual and fun formats of competition: Spell Draft, Double Threat, Unbound, Hardcore, Who’s the Boss, “French Touch” with Hardcore painting, and even a tournament for Press Gangers only. All these events will earn the victors a seat at the Masters finale on Sunday.
