Registration for Lock & Load GameFest 2016 opened on Tuesday, and we saw hundreds of registrations pour in for our entire suite of gaming events. The excitement here at Privateer Press HQ is palpable, and everyone is talking about the upcoming event and how thrilled we are to see everyone for our sixth year of Lock & Load. I’m beyond excited for all of the awesome programming we have planned for the event. “Corvis Calibration” and “Dead Reckoning” promise to be awesome opportunities for anyone that wants to explore the Iron Kingdoms outside the realm of WARMACHINE and HORDES. The Iron Game Master competition is the first event in which we’ve created a structured system to let the super-talented Game Masters in our community show their chops at the con. I would love to be a player at one of those tables to see how our contestants handle the myriad challenges that will be thrown their way!

Game Developer Willaim “Oz” Schoonover has some really awesome LEVEL 7 gaming events going on throughout the weekend as well. Three years ago, we first ran our “Belly of The Beast” event for LEVEL 7 [ESCAPE], and its popularity and buzz led us to conceive the “Operation Crucible” event for LEVEL 7 [OMEGA PROTOCOL]. Both of these events are multi-table extravaganzas that are sure to bring a smile to any gamer’s face. If you need a break from Iron Arena or Privateer Press Play-to-Win, these events are a great way to try a new spin on these sci-fi adventures.

Perhaps the most exciting thing I have to share in this Insider is the amazing sculpt for the limited-edition Colbie we will be giving out to attendees staying in our hotel block. I could go on for days about her, but I think that this picture is worth a thousand words.
