Two years.

Already!

Time flies when you’re making cool models for the game you love, and my second year at Privateer Press was filled with great opportunities to do just that. Over the last year I was fortunate to have worked on an interesting variety of warcasters like Father Lucant and Epic Absylonia, convention exclusives like the Blighted Bather and Gobber Drudge, and a few other cool models like Zuriel and the cephalyx. It was truly an amazing second year at Privateer Press!

One of the great things about my job at Privateer Press is getting to make the models that I play with (I say this all the time, I know) and then seeing our players using them at an event or on a WARMACHINE night at the local game store. I love chatting with our players about their armies and hearing how excited people get when they show me their paint jobs on one of my sculpts or tell me a battle story about that model. This never, ever gets old.

This year is already off to an amazing start, and I simply cannot wait for everyone to see what we have been creating in the studio. I know my coworkers are excited for all of the new models we are working on. In fact, Convention Coordinator Michael Plummer comes into the studio on a near daily basis to look at new models (“I want one of those so badly,” he often says, or “I can’t wait to use that”). With WARMACHINE: Reckoning just around the corner I think everyone is getting excited to add new additions to their favorite faction.

In my two years here I have met many new friends—but the coolest part is I have “made” new friends, too!
