Insider 01-25-2016

January is an interesting month for me. It is an important time for the production of RPGs; most of the things players will get their hands on during the big conventions this summer have their genesis now.

Here at Privateer Press, we’re already hard at work on the next releases for the Iron Kingdoms Roleplaying Game line. The planning process can be hectic—if I still had much hair, I’m sure I’d have pulled it out by now—but the end result is always worth the effort.

January is also interesting because it gives me a moment to look back on the previous year and what it meant for the RPG. In all, 2015 was a pretty spiffy year for the Iron Kingdoms, thanks to the unveiling of Iron Kingdoms Unleashed and the first of its supplements, Skorne Empire. Unleashed was a big undertaking, the biggest for the Iron Kingdoms RPG so far. We also had our first free campaign, The Treason of Dakaan, go live just after Gen Con.

To help keep the game vibrant, one of my personal goals for 2016 is to keep an up-to-date errata and FAQ for the game. To that end, the errata has been updated today and changed on the Iron Kingdoms site, but I want to update it more frequently than in years past. And to do so, I have to rely on you. Add your voice to the Errata and FAQ thread on our forums to help us keep the Iron Kingdoms RPG one of the best roleplaying experiences you can find!

Until next time,

–M.
