Happy Thursday, wargamers! We’re excited to announce that we have released 3 new miniatures; the Alliance Troopers.

Alliance Troopers are the mainstay of the Alliance Military. The Alliance is kept safe by the actions of the troopers defending it across the galaxy.

The three new miniatures represent the frontline soldiers of the Alliance. Each is in a unique pose, and the heads are interchangeable to give you more variety.

Alliance Trooper 01 is in a neutral pose, scanning the area for enemies.

The second Alliance Trooper is in a much more aggressive firing pose, screaming as he takes the fight to the enemies of the Alliance.

The final trooper is equipped with a Light Machine Gun support weapon, allowing him to lay down huge amounts of fire and cover the rest of his Strike Team.

In the Icarus Project, Alliance Troopers are the heart of the Alliance faction. They are relatively cheap, which means you can field good numbers of them, and they have access to a few pieces of specialist equipment (like the LMG) that allow you to tailor them to your play style.

We have also just released version 0.1.7 of our Beta rules for the Icarus Project, which adds a selection of new characters and units, as well as tightens up the scenario section, making it much easier for you to set up and play the game.
