Hobby: Ruined Hamlet revisited
Our Ruined Farmhouse plastic kit and the Ruined Hamlet set, which contains 3 Farmhouses, are fantastically versatile. Not only are they suitable for wargames from Napoleonics right up to World War II, you can also assemble them in a multitude of ways.
In this article we show off just a few of the possibilities, modelled up by Daz Evans and Lee Abbott.
Daz has assembled the hamlet using plasticard to construct the bases.
He has created a rickety shed out of the rafters pieces.
Daz has used extra pieces of plasticard to wreckage and a half-broken door.
Lee Abbott has made the floorboards on his base from balsa wood, with sand and gravel texture round the edges.
Lee’s hamlet looks fantastic in the midst of a Bolt Action battle!
