Here’re the first three such bosses.

The first one is an Alterant, one of the ravager bio-engineers who design the spawns for their queen and enhance the ravager species, shaping their artificial evolution to become the ultimate form of life.

Nevermind the skill values and characteristics though, we haven’t finished playtesting it yet but we wanted to show you the illustration ASAP!

He’s not only huge, cunning and scary, but also quite a bit of a philosopher. Here’s a quote of the Alterant’s thoughts:

‘There are only four wars: Species against nature, species against species, species against itself, and individual against itself.

Mother is the only being who has figured out the last war. She makes us imperfect so that we are expendable, yet strong enough to be capable of fighting and winning for her in the other three wars.

Let evolution gift the best prepared mother with total victory, allowing us to reach the ultimate goal: Peace through the impossibility of conflict. Peace through the annihilation of all other life forms and through the conquest of nature.’
