DGS Games and Julie Guthrie Team Up for New Dragon Kickstarter
DGS Games is Kickstarting a Huge New Dragon Model!
Next week DGS Games is going to launch its 7th Kickstarter for its 32mm skirmish game Freeblades. The campaign will be for a new character in their world of Faelon, Thrakansor, Dragon of Fire. Julie Guthrie will be sculpting the beast, which will sit on a 120mm base. If you want to see just how large this creature is going to be, check out the picture below with a silhouette of a 32mm Freeblades figure next to it.
DGS and Julie Guthrie Collaborating
We are so pleased to announce a collaboration between DGS Games and the one and only Julie Guthrie. If you aren’t familiar with her work, a quick google search will turn up years of experience with companies like Ral Partha, Reaper, and Grenadier. We couldn’t be happier to announce her participation in this project.
Dragons and Faelon
In the world of Faelon, Dragons are a type of Demon from the alternate world of Karelon, a spirit realm. Although Karelon is separate from Faelon gates are created to bring demons over. Only especially powerful artifacts can bring a dragon over, and so a Dragon hasn’t been seen in Faelon in almost 2,000 years! There are nine dragons in all. Each Dragon is associated with a different energy: Fire, Ice, Void, Celestial, Illusion, Earth, Water, Air, and one unnamed energy (we have to save some of the secrets!).
