Every year the entire Privateer Press crew comes together for an amazing weekend full of games, hangouts, and fun! Whether you’re looking for a chance to ask writing manager Matt Goetz about skorne underpants or you want to throw down the gauntlet against lead designer and developer Jason Soles in a game of WARMACHINE or HORDES, Lock & Load has exactly what you’re looking for.

This year, we’re going to start things off with our keynote, first thing Friday morning after the doors open. We’ll have previews of many of the great things coming up in the following year and hope to leave you with plenty to talk about and speculate on.

Speaking of events, for those fighting for the future of Holden in the Crossroads of Courage narrative campaign, Lock & Load is your chance to seal Holden’s fate. Taking place over an entire day, this narrative event will be live-streamed as players compete to see which path they can push Holden down. Our studio team has been working on some amazing new terrain, and Hungerford has been cackling madly whenever the event comes up in conversation.

Badges for the event will go on sale on January 11, 2017—$72 for a will-call badge or $75 for a shipped badge, and a new badge type this year is the Friends & Family badge. The Friends & Family badge is designed for family and significant others who want to support you, check out Lock & Load, and enjoy our family area, but won’t be taking part in the Iron Arena, events, or tournaments. The Friends & Family badge is completely free and available as a will-call only option. Even though badges are not available just yet, you should book your hotel rooms right now to get a special rate !
