If you’re attending Gen Con Indy 2015 from July 30 to August 2015, you’ll be able to purchase pre-release copies of some of CoolMiniOrNot’s newest games before they hit retail stores! We’ll have a limited number of all pre-release games, so stop by the CMON Booth #1317 and #1417 (located directly across from each other) early to make sure you get a copy of the game (or games) you want. So what games are on offer?

The highly-anticipated, new edition of Queen’s Necklace (designed by Bruno Cathala and Bruno Faidutti) will be available for purchase. It is a fast, card-driven game of jewel trading and intrigue. Players compete to craft and sell exquisite jewels to the Queen and court.

The Grizzled, the English edition of the best selling Les Poilus, will be on hand at the show. Designed by Fabien Riffaud and Juan Rodriguez, with art by Tignous, The Grizzled asks players, “Can Friendship be stronger than War?” Unique among WWI based games, there is no fighting in The Grizzled. Players face everyday trials of the trenches, and everyone must survive to win.

The new Dark Age: Forsaken book will be available, updating the faction with new models, stats, and more. You’ll also be able to pick up some of the new Forsaken models while you’re there. The new figures go a long way towards updating the faction’s style to a more modern feel.

In addition to the above games, we’ll have an very limited supply of the board games Blood Rage, The World of Smog: On Her Majesty’s Service, and Rum & Bones. All of these titles were successfully Kickstarted thanks to our supportive fans. We were able to secure an extremely limited quantity of each game for Gen Con that do not come out of the copies on their way for backers. Kickstarter backers will not be able to pick their copies of the games up at the show, but they won’t have to wait too long before they receive their copies in the mail, including all of the awesome Kickstarter exclusive material they made possible. No one buying the pre-release games at Gen Con will receive the full Kickstarter package. We are very excited to get these games in to everyone’s hands, and Gen Con offers us a unique opportunity to do so in a limited manner.

If you can’t make it to Gen Con this year, some of our pre-release games will be available for sale on https://www.coolminiornot.com/shop. The games available on the web store, starting Thursday, July 30, include: Queen’s Necklace, The Grizzled, and the Dark Age: Forsaken book and models. You will not be able to purchase copies of Blood Rage, Smog, or Rum & Bones from the online store until our Kickstarter backers have received their copies.

We will have demos running of every game on this list and more at Booth 1317 and 1417 (across from each other), so you can always give them a try before you buy. We look forward to seeing you at Gen Con Indy 2015!
