CMON Events At Gen Con Indy 2015
Gen Con Indy 2015 is right around the corner (July 30-August 2). In less than two weeks, gamers will flock to Indianapolis for the greatest four days of gaming around (they should make a slogan like that)! And CoolMiniOrNot plans to be there to help you celebrate. We have 16 events planned for our fans, all of which you can buy tickets for now. Let’s take a look at what you can do with CMON at Gen Con 2015.
CoolMiniOrNot Game Fest!
We want to reward you for playing our games. From Arcadia Quest to Zombicide, earn points for each game played, each win, and each title. Points will earn rewards and all our events earn points for this challenge. Game Fest runs Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, and a separate ticket is needed for each day. If tickets sell out, we’ll accept generic tickets as well to make sure everyone gets a shot at earning some awesome rewards.
Dark Age Build N’ Play
CMON’s Dark Age has been a tabletop gaming mainstay for years, so if you’re looking to start a well-established and supported minis game, there is no better way than this. Ticket includes a starter box and everything you need to assemble it. There will also be people on hand to help you learn the game! There is no better time than now to give Dark Age a try. Build N’ Play runs Thursday, July 30 – Saturday, August 1.
Dark Age Tournament
For our more established Dark Age players, we’re happy to offer this 500 point tournament using the March to Immortality 2015 rules. All miniatures must be fully assembled, with no proxies allowed. Test you might against other Dark Age players as you fight your way across Samaria. The tournament takes place on Friday, July 30. (Note: This tournament is incorrectly listed as Dark Age X’treme Rules Tournament in the guide.)
Dark Age Immortals Tournament
Here at CMON, we love our fans. Without them, we couldn’t keep making games. So we decided to give Dark Age players the chance to become immortal! The winner of the Dark Age Immortals Tournament will work alongside CMON to design a model that will become part of the game alongside our previous years’ winners. The event will be 500 points, uses the March to Immortality 2015 rules, and takes place Saturday, August 1. Miniatures must be assembled, with no proxies allowed. Play. Win. Become Immortal.
Wrath of Kings Build N’ Play
This is a perfect way to pick-up CMON’s latest miniatures game, Wrath of Kings. Mighty armies clash for the fate of Arikania. Ticket price includes a starter box. You’ll have everything you need to build your new starter. And people will be on hand to help you learn the game. Getting in to a miniatures game has never been easier. Build N’ Play runs Thursday, July 30 – Saturday, August 1.
Wrath of Kings: Battle for the Empyrean Throne
CMON loves to put the player first in our games. Which is why we’re letting the players decide the future of Wrath of Kings’ Arikania in the Battle for the Empyrean Throne. This is a three part event, running Friday, July 30 – Sunday, August 2. All models must be assembled and on bases, with no proxies allowed. Day 1 will be intro level forces. Day 2 will be Skirmish level forces. Day 3 will be Modified Skirmish level forces. Only 1 of each Motivation can be used per day. Each day will help form the narrative direction of the following day’s campaign. Day 1’s ticket price includes Day 2 and 3, so you only have to register for Day 1.
Zombicide Trick & Track
Come together with other Zombicide fans to take part in this cooperative, three-mission campaign. All players will receive an exclusive Survivor and Zombivor figure for participating. The event takes place on Friday, July 30.
