Winged Hussar Publishing has signed veteran gamer Joe Krone to produce a book tentatively titled, “Battles Before Gunpowder” which will provide the background and overview of 24 battles from the ancient to medieval periods. Each battle will provide the background, armies and maps of the battle along with a narrative that will allow the gamer or historian to re-fight or reconstruct each historical event.  It is priced at $30 for April 2015.
