Reclusive Phoenix Entertainment proudly announces three new pieces in the Slumbering Oblivion line. We are in the midst of a new Kickstarter to fund production of the Avatar of Cthulhu resin kit and two character busts. The Kickstarter is only 3 weeks long so you have to act fast to get one of these sculpts.

AVATAR OF CTHULHU

The Avatar stands 15″/380mm from the base to the tip of the wing. It will be the centerpiece of any Lovecraft or Cthulhu fans collection. Sculpted by Roberto Chaudon, it is a dynamic pose with amazing detail. The sculpting is complete therefore the Kickstarter will be used to fund the production of this piece in resin.

I have been a huge HPL/Cthulhu fan and collector for many years. The are many different sculpts out there of varying shapes and sizes and are all great in their own way. However, none of the sculpts ever really met my personal vision of what Cthulhu looks like. I worked with some great artists to create my own interpretation. The result is something new, different and huge because to make Cthulhu properly, it has to be big! I am now thrilled to offer my vision of Cthulhu to the public through our Kickstarter.

BUSTS

Not everyone wants a massive Cthulhu (for some strange reason), therefore we are also going to be funding two new busts.

The first bust represents the Ghoul known as Nemesis. It is a pack leader and Champion among the Ghoul hordes. It is covered in fur and scales with a dog like head and ferocious expression. The bust stands around 5.5″/140mm tall to the top of the head.

Commander Borisova is the second bust. She is a Genetically Engineered Cybernetic Soldier (GECS) in the human army and excels at leading teams in the destruction of Cthulhu’s minions. She is part genetically engineered human, part machine and a total bad-ass. The bust stands around 5″/128mm to the top of her helmet.

All of the sculpting has been completed and as a result these are ready for production! Kickstarter backers will be the first to receive these new sculpts and also pick them up for the lowest prices they will ever be offered. Depending on demand, this maybe the only time these pieces will be available for some time. So if you want to be sure you receive one of these fantastic sculpts then certainly now is the time to get one.
