White Tree Miniatures, publisher of Afterglow skirmish game, is currently running a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for releasing a new faction – Forsaken.

Afterglow Miniatures Game is a tabletop skirmish game designed for two players, set in a universe destroyed by an apocalypse which is known now as the Blast. This is a grim, dangerous world, full of death and despair – shadow of itself from the past. But it is not only destroyed, it is changed too… Magic has returned to the world.

In these dark, hard days survivors try to live for one more day. Some of them are nomads, others gather around strong individuals, estabilishing new “towns” and enclaves. Some live in the ruins of the cities, other risk living in the wastelands. Famine is common, as is cannibalism. There is only one universal law – might is right.

But there are some sparks of civilisation left too. Forge Towns are full of dwarves and men, working in exchange for protection. There are Delarians too, fightning with fire and iron to spread their faith. Another faction is Naiym’vael, these are elves maddened after the Blast, which changed world forever. And there are Constructs, half-men, half-machines, suspended between life and death, wandering through Wastelands in search of the living.

Forsaken, which are to be released after success of IndieGogo campaign, are fifth faction in the game. They are rejects of post-apocalyptic societies – outlaws, mutants, cannibals and diseased. They are maddened creatures, driven by rage and hate, attacking with ferocity and brutality, showing no mercy. All they want is to fight, plunder and feast on their victims. As the White Tree Miniatures writes – “This is a faction focused on an offensive playing style and close quarters fighting”.

Crowdfunding campaign will run for about a month, the goal of campaign is to raise 2000 EUR.
