Argh! Rum and Bones: Second Tide is the exciting sequel to last year’s hit game. Players will take control of two new pirate crews – the Marea de la Muerte and the Deep Lords – battling for control of Davy Jones’ mythic treasure! Second Tide introduces a dynamic new leveling system, revamped gameplay and exciting new Heroes to pump new blood in to your pirate adventures!

Two to six players will control teams of three to five Heroes, each with various, unique powers and abilities. Your team will also consist of your ships’ Deckhands and Bosuns that follow a simple A.I. and pathing system, leaving the strategy and game winning plays to you and your Heroes.

Speaking of Heroes, one of the most notable changes and upgrades to Second Tide is the new Leveling System! Each Hero begins the game with their Basic Attack skill card. As they obtain Coins through KO’ing enemies and Objectives, they can use those Coins to buy new skills, as well as level up existing ones! Further enhancing your strategy is the Tide Deck unique to your crew. Of course, with great power comes the chance of summoning The Kraken!

To round out all the changes listed above, a new Alternating Activation method of play has also been introduced! With this new system players will take turns activating one Hero (or their Crew), and then their opponent will do the same, continuing back and forth until everyone has gone. With this method you can better react to your opponent’s actions, as well as change your own strategies on the fly. This new system is sure to create some dynamic and memorable moments as the balance of the fight sways back and forth-just like the Tide!
