Salute is the UK’s biggest single day wargaming event showcasing the very best companies in the hobby. Held at the ExCel centre in London on the 25th April, the centre will be flooded with hobby enthusiasts from all around the country (and even overseas) who will be eager to see what is on offer in the world of wagaming.

We’ll be there in force – so let’s find out what we’ve got in store for you all…

First off, we have a huge team coming to the show this year. This means there will be plenty of people to answer all your Mantic related questions and take you through all of the great games we have at the show. And knowing Ronnie, we’ll probably let a few secrets slip!

We have the gorgeous Secret Weapon Rolling Fields board out on display. Mantic Games is the exclusive distributor for the Tablescape Tiles in UK and Europe, and this will be the first time most people in the UK will have seen a Secret Weapon board up close.

We’ll also be showing people how to play Kings of War on this table, and Salute will be a great opportunity to check out Kings of War and ask any questions you might have about the new edition to our Pathfinders!

Dungeon Saga will be playable at Salute!

This will be the first time for a lot of people to have a look at the game, and it’s going to be great to get everyone exciting about it. We are showing off the studio miniatures, getting people excited for model doors (possibly for the first time in your life!) and Jake Thornton will be stopping by the Mantic stand for a while to answer any questions you may have about the games design.

With the impending release of Mars Attacks: Extermination, Mars Attacks with have a big presence at the show. The show will be a great opportunity to try out this wacky and wonderful game if you haven’t already, as our Pathfinders will be on hand to take you through the basics. And the Martian Giant Robot will be available to purchase at the show too!

Continuing the theme, the Pathfinders will also be showing people how to play DreadBall and DreadBall Xtreme. It will be great to play them both side by side and see what makes these games so different, as well as see the similarities.

First off you could have a demo game of DreadBall and see how this futurist sports game is played in the big leagues, then take a sidestep and try out the dirty, brutal underground version that is DreadBall Xtreme.

If you play a demonstration game on the day then you’ll also be entitled to a free £5-off voucher on any Mantic Games starter set!

Our good friends at Kingsley distribution will have Deadzone set up at their stand! So once you’ve managed to fight your way out of all the excitement at the Mantic stand, you can head over there to get try out our futuristic sci-fi skirmish game. With the recent success of the Deadzone: Infestation Kickstarter, now is the perfect time to get your hands on Deadzone and prepare yourself for Infestation.

So with all the great things we have to offer at Salute surely there can’t be more?

Of course there is!

We have the last miniatures left over from the Deadzone Kickstarter, including just 15 Enforcer with Thermal Rifle and a highly limited number of Deadzone Dead Figures. Make sure you get your hands on these super limited edition models early, as once they are gone there will be no other way to get your hands on them!

Painted up by Mel from The Terrain Tutor, we’ll also be displaying the new red brick scenery – generic modular wargames terrain for any historical or modern wargame – with a number of sets available for advanced purchase.
