Unit Spotlight: Brotherhood Lord Inquisitor Hamilkar

In the Lore:
The Lord Inquisitor Majoris Hanno Hamilkar, Supreme of the Brotherhood’s Second Directorate, to use his full title, is a rare man indeed. Not only is he a characteristic example of all the Order of Inquisition represents, but he is also a master of tactical warfare. Hailing from the Nord region of Luna where he was found abandoned as a baby. He was sent to the mountain monasteries of Hellvatican where he began training to become a Guardio Oblati. When his particular abilities with the Art became clear his training ceased and he joined the ranks of the Second Directorate. His trainings under the Sacerdos of Hellvatican served him well though, and he rose quickly through the ranks, so becoming one of the youngest Inquisitor Majoris ever known.

On the Tabletop:
Hamilkar is a very solid Brotherhood Warlord. He has very strong shooting abilities with plenty of active skills to augment his weapon. The Power Up skill gives him +2 to his AC 40 Justifier’s strength and the Holy Bullet skill allows him to shoot targets that are outside of LoS and denies Heal tests as well.

In Melee he is no slouch either, his Holy Disemboweler Chainripper gives him +2 strength and a Rate of Attack of 2, combined with the Active Disembowelment skill he gains Critical Force 2 on all his attacks. Plus his Passive: Cardinal’s Blood disallows heal rolls against close combat attacks.

Using his Passive Vigilant Watchman skill he may enter Sentry for 1 action instead of 2.

His other Active skills allow him to force pinning checks on models within 8 inches at -6 leadership, Gain Fear 3 which is very useful against heretics and Force his opponent to reveal on the spot what unit he will activate next.
