Prime Legacy Army Development and Release Order Update

The results are in from the Warfaire Weekend House Wars and Iron Arena participation voting, and we have the winners, which will determine the next few months of development and app updates for Prime Legacy armies.

While last week we pledged to determine the order for the next four armies, in a dramatic twist worthy of Welcome to Wrexham, we had a tie for fourth place! Here are the results:

1st: Thornfall Alliance
2nd: Rhul Guard
3rd: Talion Charter
4th: Secret Dominion tied with Ravens of War

And so, in honor of election season, we’ll be breaking the tie through a public, online vote! Click below to cast your vote for Circle Orboros’ Secret Dominion or Legion of Everblight’s Ravens of War. Voting will close next Tuesday, November 15th, at 10 a.m. PST, so don’t delay!

Meanwhile, our development team will get to work on the Thornfall Alliance with plans to get them into the WARMACHINE app by the end of November. That will put Rhul Guard in December, the Talion Charter in January, and by next Tuesday, we’ll know the releases for February and March.

We’ll also be adding Unlimited Legacy models along the way and have already started in on the conversion rules for archons. We’ve seen queries about battle engines, colossals, and gargantuans, and those will be coming sooner rather than later in our 2023 development timeline, but in order to maintain balance in the Prime Arena, they will remain in the Unlimited Arena until their counterparts are available for new MKIV armies.
