Curious Constructs and our partners at Zinge Industries are nearing the half way point of our second Kickstarter campaign! Thanks to some amazing support from our backers, we have reached more then three times our initial funding goals – and that means we’ve had several Stretch Goals uplocked!

As a result of our success so far we will be putting into production a 28mm Weapons Platform and at least nine brand new Steampunk inspired Heavy Weapons and options, these include the original Heavy Caliber Machine Gun, Rocket Launcher, Mortar and Cannon. All of these have been designed by Kit Burrows of Zinge Industries, a highly regarded 3D designer with an extensive portfolio of work.

We’ve also now funded a Flac Cannon, Multi-Mortar, Multiple Missile Launcher, Doomsday Rocket and a Barrage Balloon Anchor, the concepts for some of these are shown below, with the Flac still in development following lots of backer feedback.

We’ve also funded the Homing Pigeon, a esoteric guidance system for Steampunk fans, and an Ammunition set which many of our backers will also receive as a freebie. Still to come we have the Searchlight, Flame Cannon and three further new Self-propelled Platform types, wheeled, tracked and legged(!) should we get sufficient funding, with even more weird and wonderful creations to come beyond even these!

Whichever options you prefer, this multi-part kit, which will be cast in high quality resin offers huge potential for customisation! In fact, all the new parts are fully compatible with the existing Field Artillery kits which were the result of last years Kickstarter campaign giving you yet more options.
