The gates to the fae realm of Annwyn are gaping wide once more and the rades sally forth to cause mayhem and destruction across the mortal realm!

Oakbound Studio have launched their latest Kickstarter to bring out miniatures for another faction from their folklore fantasy world. This time the Fae. These proud, cruel nobles make sport of the creatures of the mortal realm, hunting and enslaving them for use in entertainments and as slaves. The kickstarter introduces the nobles, the fae martial (the faeries’ military wing) and the bestial hobyah servants.

There are miniatures to suit a range of other purposes here, with pirate and Venetian carnival types, beastmen and lome landsknecht/imperial types in armour. Players of Carnevale, Blood and Plunder, Freebooters’ Fate, Mordheim and Warhammer Empire will find this a useful source of alternative figures. The fae queen on her winged litter is a particular favourite.

The Kickstarter can be found HERE and runs until the 29th September. With most figures priced at just £3 and a launch-day bonus this ought to be an easy campaign to get behind.
