In the western oceans, there is a small unassuming island that is only accessible by a few select portals on each continent across Relicias portal network. On this island lives a tiny race of creatures known as the Mogmaryions. The Mogmaryions are small, furry critter like things in appearance and at first glance, one would assume they were roughly on the same intellectual level of the average household pet, yet despite this misleading first impression, the Mogmaryions are actually quite sophisticated. By some inexplicable means they have done what no other creatures have successfully accomplished before and have managed to broker a peace between all the known races of Relicia, this peace however is only used for one single mind-boggling reason.

While most reasonable creatures would use this ideal opportunity to sit around a table and discuss their many differences in an agreeable fashion with an aim to ultimately ending the eternal conflict, the guests of the Mogmaryions are focused on one thing and one thing alone, the ancient sport of Hardbal!

Hardbal is a brutal bloody sport where tearing flesh and breaking bone is all just part of the rough and tumble of the great game. The game is played profusely throughout the island on many different pitch layouts for varying levels of wager. Of the various prizes available throughout the region the most coveted by far is the Maaj crystal encrusted cup that is awarded to the winners of the prestigious Armistice League, the most lucrative sporting event in the whole of Relicia and beyond!
