AdeptiCon 2020 is coming fast, and I’m here to give you all the details for the Privateer Press events! The first and most significant detail: registration opens December 8^th, 2019, at 1 P.M. Central Time! This is your first opportunity to get into the events, get a swag bag, and have the best chance of getting into the painting/modeling classes you want.

To view the events on AdeptiCon’s website, go to here, click Event List on the middle left, type “Privateer Press” without the quotes in the search box, and click “Search.” All of the events and full details will be available there.

What I’d really like to tell you about, however, is all the cool stuff we’re planning for everyone attending AdeptiCon this year. We have so many cool events that there should be something for everyone! It will be amazing to see WARMACHINE/HORDES, Monsterpocalypse, No Quarter Games, and Riot Quest all played with fully painted models. Seeing table upon table of painted models makes the events so immersive that it’s easy to get lost in the game. I enjoy walking around the hall and seeing all the amazing paint jobs and conversions our community comes up with. As in previous years, we will be picking exceptional-looking armies and displays for Display It Painted, which runs alongside AdeptiCon’s Armies on Parade. Selected armies will be displayed to the entire convention Saturday night to highlight some of the most creative and daring armies. We’ll be providing details soon on the prize support and entry rules for this event. We had amazing entries last year, so I can’t wait to see what comes this year!

We’ll have the store at AdeptiCon this year, selling products from all of our miniature and gaming lines. Who will show up for loot and gear? What monsters will we rain down upon the Chicago skyline this year? What paints will Jordan lavish upon us? I can’t wait to get my hands on them!

We have lots of great events this year. On the WARMACHINE/HORDES side, we have something for everyone: Champions, Masters, multiple Narrative events, Caster Draft scrambles, Company of Iron, a two-player Team Tournament, and America’s Team Championship! Casual, competitive, team events…you name it, we have it! Monsterpocalypse is going to smash its way through the weekend with five different events, from 1- and 2-Monster Crush Hour events to a Narrative event to a Monster Mash event where four players team up to fight another team of four on a single map. It will be carnage unseen on this planet. Riot Quest brings the beatdown in the Throwdown with six events over the weekend. With different crew configurations of single-player and multiplayer FFA events, the chaos will be succulent. Some of the community’s favorite No Quarter Games make their AdeptiCon debut with Deck Raiders, Extreme Colossal Wrestling, and Arcanist events in the early evening.

And with all of our events going on, we still have the Iron Arena running from 9 A.M. to midnight each night for you to earn skulls and get that loot of your own. All Privateer Press games are eligible for skulls, so bring your favorites, and we’ll see you on the table!
