The last of our parade of Dad’s Army characters is Private Frazer, the dour Scottish undertaker, veteran of the Battle of Jutland, who makes no secret of his desires for increased rank within the platoon. Frazer is known for his bleak, pessimistic outlook on life, hence his catchphrase:

“We’re Doomed!”
