When you think of classic Warhammer Empire armies what comes to mind? Steam Tanks? War Wagons? Banks of heavy cannon? Mighty Griffins?

Yes, all of this. But where would the imperial general be without a throng of regular footsoldiers to occupy the enemy whilst the fun stuff gets into position? Sadly the cost of even more recent plastics have become an expensive option for building big blocks of infantry, never mind trying to do it in classic metals. More affordable possibilities can be had if you’re willing to take a more historical aesthetic or mix and match between a few periods but finding the right combinations of kit can be a real headache.
