Job Description

Privateer Press is seeking a junior- to mid-level IT professional to manage and maintain its internal and external IT resources in order to facilitate fast and reliable end-user services.

The IT Professional will be responsible for providing on-site IT support while configuring, securing, and maintaining all internal and external IT resources, including network infrastructure, servers, client machines, and peripherals.

The ideal candidate should possess a wide range of skills and experience within the IT industry and should demonstrate an ability to quickly gain expertise in new technologies and procedures.

This is a full-time position in our Bellevue, WA office.

Duties Include:

  • Supporting and troubleshooting network, server, and client machines.
  • Planning, deployment, and maintenance of network structure and security.
  • LAN and WLAN configuration.
  • Management of internal and external servers.
  • Deployment of internal network cabling.
  • Purchasing, installation, and configuration of equipment and software for specific end use.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact with external developers and vendors.
  • Monitoring and analyzing network data to optimize operations.
  • Implementing and administering security and account services.

Required Skills and Proficiencies

  • Understanding of Windows PowerShell and UNIX/LINUX terminal command line interfaces
  • Network management, including Mac, PC, and Linux/Unix interactions

  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Drupal, WordPress, Magento, and similar Web platforms
    • cPanel with WHM
    • FreeBSD
    • NAS AFP/CIFS
    • VoIP
    • Active Directory/LDAP
    • Enterprise WLAN access points
  • Familiarity with Privateer Press’ properties. These include WARMACHINE, HORDES, Iron Kingdoms, Monsterpocalypse, Bodgers, Grind, LEVEL 7 and Formula P3.

Compensation: $50k–$60k depending on experience
